TOKYO — AlphaOmega Soft Co, an information technology
service firm, released on Friday a machine for feeding small animals that
is remote-controlled via personal computer (PC) or mobile phone.
Users can see how their pets are fed as the "iSeepet" machine is
equipped with a camera to show moving images on the PC screen and static
images on the cell phone screen.
The machine can store enough food to feed a small animal for three to
four days, allowing users to stay away from home for so many days without
worrying about their pets, the Fujitsu Ltd affiliate said.
Telecommunications company NTT-ME Corp will offer installation services
including access to the Internet.
Initial installing costs will be 174,800 yen. Users will also need to
pay basic monthly fees of 3,900 yen. (Kyodo News) |
